As stated in our bylaws:
"The Service Vice Presidents shall plan and coordinate the service program of the chapter; serve as chair of the service committee; delegate responsibilities to committee members as necessary; attend all executive committee and chapter meetings or send a representative; preside over chapter and executive committee meetings in the absence of the President; keep accurate records of projects and members' service hours, and report those records to the Membership Vice President at the end of each semester for probationary purposes; propose at least four service events per month (excluding months with fewer than three academic weeks); hold at least one service committee meeting per month; assist the Scouting Chair with the Scouting program; promote service as one of the cardinal principles of Alpha Phi Omega; and such other duties applicable to the office as prescribed by the executive committee."
